Shackled Power
Without your protective item, your supernatural powers begin to bleed out uncontrollably.
Prerequisite: At least 1/2 of your HD is in classes with spells or powers.
Effect: You obtain a "shackle" which takes up an item slot, but may be enhanced as any item. This item, when worn, prevents you from using your spells, powers, and similar qualifying abilities when worn. It can be disabled or enabled as a move action which provokes attacks of opportunity allowing normal use of abilities. However whenever the item is disabled or removed, you must make a DC 15 Will save any round you are not employing your supernatural abilities, with the DCs rising by 1 every subsequent round. On success you act normally, and on a failure you must employ one of your spells or powers of your choice.
Failure results in a cascade, in which attempting to reenable your shackle on your body gives you another attempt at the saving throw with a +4 bonus on the check. Otherwise you will continue to use spells or powers until expended or unable by other means. On a natural 1, you are compelled to use your highest spells or powers available.
Benefit: Any bonus feat for which you meet the prerequisites.
Special: If your shackled item is lost or destroyed, it can be replaced for the cost of 100 gp over 8 hours as you attune to a new item.
