Falsestrike [Metamagic] "You failed me again minion! Now suffer, not with death, but with certain agonizing survival!"Benefit: Spells modified by this feat cannot kill. It leaves the target no lower than 0 hp, conscious and staggered. If they would be destroyed at 0 hp, it leaves them at 1 hp and staggered for 1 round. Ability damage and drain stop at 1 point if going to 0 would be fatal. It cannot be applied to spells whose effect result is instant death such as most [Death] effects. Example: No matter how many hundreds of hp damage your horrid wilting just did, the goblin is left at 0 hp and staggered.Special: A spell modified using the Falsestrike feat uses a spell slot of the spell's normal level.
