Metal shape enables you to form one existing piece of metal into any shape that suits your purpose. While it is possible to make mechanical objects, masterwork quality is not possible. There is a 20% chance that any shape that includes moving parts simply doesn’t work.
This does not alter the variety of metal (i.e. silver to gold), only shapes it.
Focus: the metal that is intended to be shaped.
