Back-Alley Mage

A back-alley mage has actual training in magic, which is a league better than a typical rogue isn't enough to become an actual spellcaster. Typically they are magic college dropouts who only learned a few tricks, the apprentice of minor hedge mages or latent sorcerers with an developed bloodline.

Class: Unchained Rogue

Level: 1st, 3rd, 11th, 19th

Replaces: Finesse Training

Benefit: A back-alley mage gain the following class features:

Charismatic Power (Ex): At 1st level, A back-alley mage may choose to base all of her rogue abilities (including gained from archetype and the likes) on her Charisma instead of her Intelligence.

Magical Talents: A back-alley mage gains the Minor Magic rogue talent at 1st level as well as the Bookish Rogue feat as a bonus feat. She starts the game with a spellbook, as if she were a wizard. At 2nd level, 8th level, 14th level and 20th level she gain the Major Magic rogue talent, selecting a different spell every time this ability is gained.
