Psychohost

Unlike a normal spiritualist, the psychohost is a powerful telekinetic. Instead of making a bond within an otherworldly spirit, the poltergeist host is able to manifest her raw telekinetic energy as a pseudo being resembling an apparition.

Class: Spiritualist

Level: 1st-20th

Replaces: Phantom (altered), emotional focus, shared consciousness, bonded manifestation, calm spirit, dual bond.

Benefit: A psychohost gain access to the following class features:

Poltergeist: A psychohost 's phantom isn't a spirit entity, but rather a powerful telekinetic manifestation. It behaves as a normal phantom, except it is mindless. Unlike most mindless creatures, the phantom retains its feats. The psychohost may manifest her phantom as a standard action, and harbour it in her mind as a free action. The psychohost must spend a move action each round to direct her phantom, otherwise it does not act during its turn, except for defending itself.

The psychohost 's phantom has good Fortitude and Reflex save, and has a number of ranks in Acrobatics, Climb, and Swim equal to its number of Hit Dice. A psychohost 's phantom is never banished, instead whenever it would be banished it is instead forced back into the psychohost 's mind, and cannot be manifested again until the spiritualist next rest to regain her spells.

At 7th level, she may direct the psychohost may direct her phantom as a swift action, or as a move action. At 17th level, she may do so as a free action.

This ability alters phantom and replaces emotional focus.

Telekinetic Force (Su): A psychohost gains Basic Telekinesis as a kineticist of half her level, using her Wisdom instead of her Constitution. If her phantom is harboured in her mind, her effective kineticist level becomes equal to her full level.

At 5th level the Telekinetic Haul wild talent while her phantom is harboured in her mind.

This ability replaces shared consciousness and detects undead.

Battle Mind (Ex): At 3rd level and every 5 spiritualist levels thereafter, a psychohost gains a bonus combat feat. The spiritualist must meet the prerequisites for these feats, but she treats her spiritualist level as her base attack bonus (in addition to base attack bonuses gained from other classes and racial Hit Dice) for the purpose of qualifying for these feats. The psychohost also treats her spiritualist level as her fighter level for the purpose of selecting feats with a minimum number of fighter levels as a prerequisite.

When manifested, the psychohost ’s phantom has all feat gained through this ability as bonus feats, even if it does not meet the prerequisites.

This replaces bonded manifestation and dual bond

Telekinetic Spell Lore (Ex): At 7th level, the psychohost automatically learns telekinetic manuever as a 3rd level spell. At 11th level, she automatically learns telekinesis as a 4th level spell.

This ability replaces calm spirit.
