- Medium: As Medium creatures, kynasters have no special bonuses or penalties due to their size.
- Kynaster base land speed is 20 ft. feet However, kynaster can move at this speed even when wearing medium or heavy armor or when carrying a medium or heavy load (unlike other creatures, whose speed is reduced in such situations).
- Darkvision out to 120 feet.
- Dulled Sense (Ex): a Kynaster have almost atrophied eyes and poor earing, giving them a -4 penalty on spot, listen and search skill check.
- Hard Living (Ex): A kynaster gain Endurance and Diehard as bonus feat at 1st level.
- Indoctrinated (Ex): Kynaster are indoctrinated and brainswashed by the ancients and their ecclesiastic. A kynaster gain a +3 racial bonus on all will saves.
- Light Allergic (Ex): Kynaster are fatigued upon exposure to bright light (not mere daylight). A kynaster can last for 1 minute per point of constitution he have in sunlight before being fatigued as long as he stay in bright light and 1d4+1 minutes after.
- Modified DNA (Ex): A kynaster's DNA is twisted and modified by the ancient, granting them additional toughness. A kynaster gain a +1 racial bonus to fortitude save and 3 extra HP at 1st level.
