Invented by the technomancer Claire Loraine Watson as she found the Fatman MS-08 Power Armor too bulky and not aesthetically pleasing. The Ultra TA-01 Power Armor use a mix of heavy metal plating, powerful servomotors and ceramic to protect the wearer and allow him or her to carry large amount of weight.

The Ultra TA-01 Power Armor is by standard a suit of Hydraulic Plate, while it is bulky it was made to be well-fitted around the wearer's body and thus grant wearer slight build while in it, this stack with other iteration of slight build.
