Ape Evolutions by Level
The ape begins as is typical, except that it starts with 2 hit dice.
- Level 5—Dire Ape - The ape gains the size, special attacks, and qualities of the dire ape.
- Level 11—Girallon - The dire ape gains the special attacks, qualities, and extra arms of the girallon.
- Level 12—The girallon grows to huge size.
- Level 13—The girallon begins taking levels in Fighter (continuous).
Personal Evolutions
- I. low-light vision or scent
- II. darkvision 60ft
- III. natural weapon: claw
- IV. Rend (claw)
- V. fighter abilities
- VI. auxiliary appendage: extra arms
- VII. fighter abilities
