==Wergerth ==

[[Summary::Wergerths are wolf-like shapechangers with a passion for the hunt.]] In appearance, they are extremely beast-like, but their body shape slightly resembles a humanoid body, causing them to be often confused with [[SRD:Werewolf|werewolves]]. It is said the wergerths originated from normal wolves who, after decades of feasting on human flesh, took a more twisted humanoid appearance and gained the ability to take on the guise of man. As shapeshifters, wergerths are tightly limited; they possess a single human form which somewhat resembles their true form. For example, a white-haired wergerth would have white or silver hair in its human form; if its original form is bulky, its human form will be, too. Most wergerths are chaotic or evil, with a few exceptions; despite this, they are excellent deceivers and know how to work in a group to attain what they want. Most (if not all) wergerths have a strong predatory instinct; evil wergerths typically embrace it while good wergerths do their best to suppress it.
