A Cheap Tonic is a cheap, but effective variant of a [[SRD:Potions|Potion]]. A cheap tonic can only be for 1st level spell and it effective caster level is always 1st, it can't be made any stronger. Also unlike a potion it has a shelf life of 1 week, or 8 hours if opened after creation. 

The major benefit of cheap tonic is that they cost 1/10th of the normal cost of a potion.

Prerequisites: [[SRD:Brew Potion|Brew Potion]], ''Various'', Craft must have at least 4 ranks in [[SRD:Craft Skill|Craft]] (Alchemy).<br/>
