A Cheap Tonic is a cheap, but effective variant of a Potion. A cheap tonic can only be for 1st level spell and it effective caster level is always 1st, it can't be made any stronger. Also unlike a potion it has a shelf life of 1 week, or 8 hours if opened after creation.
The major benefit of cheap tonic is that they cost 1/10th of the normal cost of a potion.
Prerequisites: Brew Potion, Various, Craft must have at least 4 ranks in Craft (Alchemy).
