Wyvernkin[edit]

Akin to Dragonborn, Wyvernkin are a race of humanoids with a draconic appearance. They come in many colors, and produce the same potent venom that wyverns do.

Personality[edit]

Wyvernkin are a proud race, often happily comparing themselves to Dragonborn, whom they look up to, and many consider themselves related to the Dragonborn, albeit distantly.

Physical Description[edit]

Wyvernkin come in a variety of shapes and sizes, ranging from as short as 5' tall to as tall as 7' tall. Though generally well-muscled, due to the increased weight of carrying around scales. Wyvernkin can come in any color that wyverns come in, which generally ranges between browns and grays, with some white and black outliers. They have winged arms that allow the Wyvernkin to fly and glide, though this uses their arms, and makes attacking with weapons from the air almost impossible while flying. Their tails are long, typically almost as long as they are tall, and are incredibly dexterous, acting much like a fifth appendage. Their tails are tipped with a stinger that can apply a deadly venom.

Relations[edit]

Wyvernkin do all in their power to maintain good relations with Dragonborn, whom they consider to be family. Wyvernkin are generally easygoing as a whole, and tend to get along well with other races. Kobolds tend to get along with them extremely well, since they are descendants of Wyverns, which are closely related to the dragons which Kobolds revere as gods.

Alignment[edit]

They inherited the usually neutral disposition of their wyvern ancestors, though it is not uncommon for there to be evil and good Wyvernkin, as they are much more intelligent than the wyverns before them.

Lands[edit]

Wyvernkin are a varie and diverse people, and can be found in many locations across the world. Most tribes of Wyvernkin settle in mountainous regions, preferring the high altitude and unique landscape.

Religion[edit]

Wyvernkin can worship any god, though most revere either Bahamut or Tiamat.

Language[edit]

Wyvernkin can learn any language, as they do a great deal of interacting with many races. They begin play speaking Common and Draconic, and can learn any other language (except for secret languages like Druidic) as bonus languages.

These claws are considered natural attacks for the purposes of feats and spells that affect natural attacks.
