Usually an ornate staff decorated with sacred fetishes of occult worship, the witch's ritual staff can take many forms, including the common form of a broom. A witch's ritual staff is a +1 quarterstaff or short staff. Hexes with a range of touch can be delivered through the staff, either as a touch attack or a regular melee attack made with the staff. The hexes attack roll gain all enhancement placed on the staff, including enhancement bonus.
If the wielder has the flight hex, she may ride her witch's ritual staff while it is in use. Doing so doubles the fly speed granted by the hex, but reduces the flight maneuverability to clumsy. The length of the hex is also greatly increased while riding a witch's ritual staff, only counting a minute of flight for each hour of use. Usages under an hour still count as a full minute against flight's duration. While riding the witch's ritual staff, the rider counts as mounted for the purpose of being dismounted.
Prerequisites: Craft Magic Arms and Armor, overland flight, crafters must be able to use hexes.
