That's exactly how I intended to play it in my campaign! Seems like I won't need to post it after all! Another +1 for Eiji! :P |

I approve of this concept, especially at higher level games where casters are playing rocket tag and a poor initiative roll and failed save means "Ur ded, sry, plz feed your charsheet into the adamantine paper shredder of single dramatic tears."
I feel this would synergize well with TK's "Dying is Serious" rule variant. Character death should mean something unless you're an X-Man, so being incapacitated but not insta-dead appeals to the type of game I enjoy running/playing in. |
Vorpal[edit]
How does this interact with losing your actual head? - Tarkisflux Talk 20:52, 9 April 2014 (UTC)
- A good question. Vorpal is weak for a +5, to the point I'd probably give it a pass. Otherwise, it would bring you to -1 and dying, and I'd probably reflavor as "severe neck trauma" resulting in decapitation by a stiff wind hitting you, unless someone gets you healthy and stable. -- Eiji-kun (talk) 23:13, 9 April 2014 (UTC)
