Casters once lived in a land where they overpowered everyone - but now even dabbling into magic will be punished. A great way for GMs to punish the spell-casters who have gone too far.

Affecting Non-casters[edit]

Cool that your are using Spellstrained. [/bias] But I can't tell if this affects those without a caster level. --Havvy 01:26, 29 May 2012 (UTC)

EVERYEONE non-caster is a carrier and completely infected and doesn't realize it. --Ghostwheel 01:44, 29 May 2012 (UTC)
Then this is deadlier for non-casters as they suddenly die at stage 2 without any explanation, since they have 0 caster levels... --Havvy 05:16, 29 May 2012 (UTC)
acording to the rules of spellstrained as I read them you can not gain spellstrain if you do not have a caster level... so non-casters are immune or carriers... gonna think about that Wildmage Talk 11:20, 29 May 2012 (UTC) (changed so non-casters are immune)

Green Cloud[edit]

As written, it lingers indefinitely. Is this purposeful? --Ganteka Future (talk) 21:38, 5 August 2013 (UTC)

Nope, and not any more Wildmage Talk 21:19, 6 August 2013 (UTC)

DC equals caster level[edit]

Considering that base saving throw bonuses scale at a rate of +1 per 2 or 3 class levels, yikes. --Luigifan18 (talk) 04:59, 3 October 2024 (UTC)
