Shīsaido Knives[edit]
This set of unique knives were made for crafting the finest sushis, even the fabled long sushis. They were also forged for battle, and their magics resonate strongly even these many years later. They often come in a small wooden box or other presentation piece. Splitting the set apart is considered good luck among friends, so long as they return together after their adventure and explorations into flavor.

The koi katto cleaver is functionally a +1 alloy steel dagger, though it instead ignores hardness of 5 plus its enhancement value (6 for the default cleaver as a +1 weapon). If held while swimming, it counts as a masterwork tool for Swim checks. Additionally, the wielder does not take the standard –4 penalty when attacking with it in a grapple.

"Salmon's Bane" it was once called, this delicate knife features a stark red and white contrast of handle and blade.
The sakana tsuri blade is functionally a +1 dagger of bane against creatures with the aquatic subtype. The handle is made of copper-red pearl, while the blade itself is white pearl. The weapon's hit points and hardness are determined as if made entirely of copper-red pearl.

This bumpy-leather handled sushi knife keeps its grip, even when slicked with fishy slime.
The chakuseki knife is functionally a +1 dagger with a stingray leather grip. Once per day, when activated while using it to make sushi, the crafted sushi gains the effects of goodberry and purify food and drink, affecting 3d4 pieces and remaining magically potent for 12 hours if kept fresh.

This lacewood handled sushi knife features embellishments of inlaid pearl fish.
The tashikana cutter is functionally a +1 dagger with an 18-20 critical threat range and a throwing range of 15 feet. This weapon also grants a +4 circumstance bonus as a masterwork skill tool for Craft (cooking) checks made to make sushi (or otherwise a +2 bonus on other Craft (cooking) checks).
The shīsaido knives are unique items that cannot be replicated, but are not artifacts and thus may be destroyed or enhanced further as normal.
