An ancient lantern burning with a blue and purple flame, it cast very dim light which seem to be sufficient.
This fancy Hooded Lantern is under a constant lantern of the moon effect, granting low-light vision to whoever hold it. It does not cast any brighter light and does not need to be refueled.
The Palelight Lantern is capable of projecting a gout of ghostly fire as a standard action, replicating the effect of burning hands (5d4, DC 13) except that the blast does not hurt and pass through non-living matter. This prevent it from hurting construct and undead but allow the blast to ignore cover. Once this ability is used, the wielder must wait 5 rounds before using it again.
Prerequisites: Craft Wondrous Item, lantern of the moon, burning hands, crafter must be living and venerable of age.
Cost to Create: 2,500 GP, 100 EXP, 5 days.
