A knife which seems to faintly emit mist from vents along its blood channel, this +1 dagger can be attuned to over 24 hours. Once attuned, the user may dismiss the blade into invisible gas or summon it again with no more difficulty than sheathing or drawing the weapon. It is considered a hidden weapon otherwise, with a sleight of hand check to hide the faint spoor of mist left where it should be.
Regardless if you are attuned you may still use the other properties of the knife. Three times per day as part of a successful melee attack with the weapon, you may cast obscuring mist on your location (CL 5th). As long as you wield the knife your speed is not reduced for being unable to see in fog and cloud effects, though other penalties (including being unable to see) still apply.
If you cast cloud of knivesPHB2 with the knife of clouds as a focus, you may activate your obscuring mist effect on the target of your successful hits with cloud of knives.
