Feygraced Errant
A feygraced errant is a cavalier who has been enchanted by or is descended from a powerful fey. Many feygraced errants are little more than servants of their fey master, but some do strike on their own and make a name for themselves. The green knight and the hooded knight archetype complement the feygraced errant archetype well.
Class: Cavalier
Level: 1st-20th
Replaces: Armor Proficiency, Order Abilities (2nd, 8th)
Benefit: A feygraced errant gain access to the following class features:
Feybound Oath: A feygraced errant must choose to belong in the Order of the Blossom, Order of the Green or the Order of the Sword, or be a Knight-Errant.
A feygraced errant counts as both fey and her original creature type for the purpose of spells and effects.
Wild Empathy (Ex): This class feature functions as per the druid class feature.
This ability replaces the cavalier’s proficiency with heavy armor. A feygraced errant with the Green knight archetype does not gain this ability and retain her proficiency with heavy armor.
Fey Hex (Su): A 2nd level feygraced errant chooses a single hex from the following list: cackle, charm, disguise, evil eye, fortune, misfortune, murksight, prehensile hair, protective luck, scar, water lung or any hexes on the shaman nature spirit (except friend to animals). At 16th level, the feygraced errant gain access to the following additional hexes: beast eye, nightmare, prophecy, retribution, speak in dream, weather control.
A feygraced errant uses her cavalier level for the purpose of determining the effect of her hexes, and uses her Charisma instead of her Intelligence for the purposes of her hexes. The penalties imposed by the order of the blossom's challenge bonus applies to fey hexes. The feygraced errant gains an additional hex at 8th level and 16th levels thereafter.
This ability replaces the order ability gained at 2nd level.
Fey Resilience (Ex): At 8th level, she gains DR 2/cold iron. At 11th level and every 3 levels thereafter, this damage reduction increases by 2 (to a maximum of DR 10/cold iron at 20th level).
This ability replaces the order ability gained at 8th level.
