A spell developed by a a group of crossbow wielding mages, it imbues an arrow or bolt with magic which improves it and make it track its target over a long distance.
As you cast this spell, you enhance the next arrow or bolt with magical powers and immediately fire it. The projectile glows with a faint blue color, and it becomes enhanced as per the greater magic weapon spell and gains the Distance and Seeking enhancements in addition to any special qualities already on the arrow.
A projectile enhanced by enchanted shot counts as generated by a spell effect, and thus cannot be deflected by Deflect Arrows. If the arrow is not fired before the end of your next turn, it returns to normal and the spell is wasted.
