This gun sprays a thin blue beam of cold, a steady stream of vapor, or solid ice spikes.
An augmented heat pistol (cold variant), this has abilities above and beyond the traditional pistol model including an advanced 80 ft range increment and allowing you to add your Dexterity to damage. It has an actual barrel capable to creating and launching high density aqueous solution into solid objects, running off little more than water and its alien energy system. You gain access to the following abilities.
Cyro Spray: As a standard action you can fire a spray of cold vapor in a 40 ft line. Creatures must make a Reflex save, DC 10 + 1/2 BAB + ability modifier used for attack rolls. You deal 1d4 points of cold damage per BAB, save for half. If a creature fails 3 consecutive saves from the cryo spray, they are frozen in place and immobilized. They can break out of the ice with a DC 17 Strength check as a full round action, or by taking 15 or more points of fire damage.
Ice Slick: You can coat one object or a 10 ft square in ice as a standard action within 80 ft. Treat it as a grease spell, using the same save DC as Cryo Spray for saving throws. You can use it once every 5 rounds, and the ice lasts for 5 rounds, or until it takes at least 15 points of fire damage.
Icicle Shot: As a swift action you can toggle to icicle shot mode. Your attacks now are normal ranged attacks, but deal 1d6 points of piercing damage and 2d6 points of cold damage. Both damage types are multiplied on a critical as normal, as it is base weapon damage.
Shape Ice: You can generate a steady flow of ice to create objects. Treat this as minor creation which takes a 1 round action for each cubic foot of ice created. It can create up to 20 cubic feet of ice per day, recharging within 24 hours. Like minor creation, you can try to create complex objects with appropriate Craft checks. It is normal ice, and melts on its own.
