Dropping the smoke bomb with enough force to break it is a standard action, which does several things: first, it fills the square you were occupying and all adjacent squares with smoke for one round as per the [[SRD:Smokestick|smokestick]] item. Second, it allows you to teleport 30' in any direction as per the [[SRD:Dimension Door|dimension door]] spell (though you may act afterwards). Finally, you become [[SRD:Invisibility|invisible]] (as per [[SRD:Invisibility_(Spell)|the spell]]) for one minute.

However, this item has some serious downsides. For five minutes after activating the smoke bomb you take a -5 penalty to AC and all saves, and double damage from all sources (after damage reduction or magic resist).
