Upon casting this spell you cause a bastard sword, shortsword or longsword (or other one-handed sword-like weapon) in your possession to float a few inches away from you. Whenever you cast this spell, or concentrate on it, you may make a single attack with the sword with an additional 5 feet of reach, using your caster level as your base attack bonus (maximum equal to your character level) and your Intelligence or Charisma instead of your Strength to determine your attack and damage roll. The attacks benefits from any feats or abilities you may have, such as Weapon Focus as well as any enhancement on the weapon. You may concentrate as a full-round action on this spell to make a full-attack action with the weapon instead.
After the spell's duration elapses, the weapon fly back into one of your free hand without fault, or within your sheath if your hands are occupied.
At 7th level and each 4 levels thereafter, the extra reach granted by this spell increases by 5 ft.
