Self-Repairing

Caster Level: 3
Aura: Transmutation

The Castle of Graffstein has stood for thousands of years, but looks just as sturdy as the day it was built.

This item has been enhanced in order to allow it to fix itself slowly over time. If damaged, the item heals itself at a rate of 1 hp per hour. If broken, it will also mend one break an hour as mending, as long as all of its pieces are close to each other. This enhancement cannot be placed on an otherwise magical item. This is typically put on delicate tools and equipment that are expensive to replace, although it is also sometimes placed on valuable architecture or vehicles. The item maintains this enchantment even if broken or destroyed.

A Self-Repairing item costs 50% more than the base item (so a Self-Repairing Telescope is 1500 gp).

Prerequisites: Craft Wondrous Items, Mending.
Cost to Create: 1/4 base item cost, 1/50 base item cost EXP, 1 day per 2,000 gp in the base price (minimum of 1) days.
