Against extraplanar creatures or any creature which has shifted planes within the last 24 hours, it has a +2 greater enhancement bonus against them.  In addition you gain the following benefits, each activated as a standard action.  When you would slay an extraplanar creature you can instead [[SRD:Dismissal|banish]] them back to their home plane at 1 hp or 0 hp (your choice) and stable.

*''Dowse Portal:'' You specify a plane and detect any gateways, portals, or recent plane shifting (within 24 hours) or other travel to said plane and detect it as if using ''[[SRD:Locate Object|locate object]]'' to find the item(s) in question.  This has a duration of Concentration.

*''Dowse Stranger:'' You specify a plane and detect any creatures native to or recently arrived (within 24 hours) from that plane and detect it as if using ''[[SRD:Locate Creature|locate creature]] to find the creature.  You do not need to have seen the creature previously, unlike the spell.  This has a duration of Concentration.

*''Portal Sight:'' You target a portal within 30 ft and determine what lies on the other side, gaining senses as if you had just stepped through the portal with a duration of Concentration.  Both sides of the portal emanate moderate divination aura while this is occurring.

If you pass through a portal into a hostile terrain, you have 3 rounds after passing through the portal for the effects of the environment to take effect (such as a lack of oxygen, or everything being on fire) so long as you hold your weapon.
