They always take minimum damage from falling damage or damage while being grappled or crushed. This applies before resistances.
Flammable. Plushies are immune to fire, but surprisingly flammable. When exposed to fire damage, they may allow themselves to be ignited. A creature that touches the plushie or hits it with a melee attack while within 5 feet of it takes 3 (1d6) fire damage. This lasts until snuffed as an action, as part of an effect which would snuff fire (such as water), or until 10 minutes have passed.
Hold Still. Plushies can stop moving and look like a normal doll. The Investigation check to reveal their animate nature is equal to their Charisma modifier +15 (DC 17). When immobile like this they are aware, but cannot act and retain the bonus.
Plushie Product
An "Eiji Plushie", and a commoner at that, the simple plushie product is a mass produced entity being created from a metastable part of the Far Realm. They take the form of small dolls and will usually appear inanimate, until they aren't. Often there are signs that someone or something is about long before it reveals itself to the world. When they decide to reveal themselves, they delight in causing pranks, changing things for sake of change (generally harmless), or illustrating the absurdity of the situation. Parties are sometimes stalked by these creatures, especially if the plushie has made them the butt of their jokes.
Plushie Product Ecology
Eiji Plushies are not natural creatures, nor of this realm. Yet for coming from a place of madness, their appearance is almost mundane. It's their minds that are utterly lost and broken, and as a result they are often compared to some manner of alien fey creature. While they don't have any natural place in the world, they gravitate towards civilization to be sold and disseminated amongst urban populations. Once embedded into society, they then begin to mold their great works into play.
Plushie Product Relationships
The comparison to fey is not unwarranted. So long as their lineage is not revealed, the plushies often get along with many fey beings. From time to time they have been seen to team up for a common goal.
