|standard=You may cast ''light drop'' on either a source of blood (such as a bloodstain or blood puddle) or a blood-bearing creature.  Their blood glows with a luminous color of your choice.  Blood affected by this spell gives off an amount of light as an equal sized fire (a single drop would be a [[SRD:Candle|candle]] light, a large vial or small jar would be a [[SRD:Torch|torch]], and a pile of gore would be a bonfire).  There is no heat, and blood remains luminous until the end of the spell's duration, even if seperated from the body (though dried blood will give a foggy dim light).  Creatures affected by ''light drop'' glow faintly from their blood under their skin, causing a -2 penalty on [[SRD:Hide Skill|Hide]] checks made to hide in shadows.
