The jade assassin vine is a semi-mobile {{srd5lc|Plant}} that supplements its nutrition by killing creatures and placing the remains at its roots.

A typical specimen consists of a primary vine and branching vines. It has small, thumbnail sized leaves that are a milky-white color. 

A jade assassin vine can move about, albeit very slowly, but usually stays put until prey learn to avoid the area. It then develops small berries that it plants in the ground, to reproduce a smaller vine to take its place when leaves. By the time the new vine matures enough to catch prey, the prey in the area should have forgotten about the original assassin vine.
