The mysterious quasi-living metal known as etherweave can be bonded to the flesh of living creatures, consuming and replacing the body with a lattice of transdimensional organic coils, whirls, and waves that shift and move as they float through the dimensions.  The etherweave torso replaces most of the bodymass with a lattice of floating curling metal.  With your vitals largely replaced, you gain various construct abilities as well as benefit from its ethereal nature to protect yourself against ghosts.

Those with this graft automatically gain the ghost touch enhancement on any armor or shield they bear.  In addition they become immune to poison, sleep effects, paralysis, disease, nausea, fatigue, exhaustion, and have 25% fortification against critical hits and sneak attacks.  On the downside, the body no longer heals naturally but still accepts cure spells and other forms of healing as normal.

For each etherweave graft you possess after the first, you receive a 5% miss chance against all attacks, both physical and magical (maximum 20% at five grafts).  This miss chance is due to large portions of the body being ethereal at the time.  ''[[SRD:True Seeing|True seeing]]'' does not bypass it, but ghost touch weapons and force effects do not face the miss chance.  Ethereal torsos function only when applied to living creatures; applied to non-living creature and they rot away over the course of 2d4 days.  During construction, spells are employed to replace flesh with metal, but once applied it is forever a mundane part of the creature.
