This mask functions as the cursed oni mask except its magic does not wear out after use and it has no maximum duration. This mask can be taken off after an hour has passed with no check or beforehand with a successful [[SRD:Will Save|Will]] save (DC 20) followed by a [[SRD:Strength|Strength]] check (DC 20) the same round. Failure to make the [[SRD:Will Save|Will]] save requires the wearer wait 1 minute before they try again.

If you wear it for a year, you become an oni, and a [[Mask of Becoming (3.5e Equipment)|mask of becoming]] of your old form falls off instead.
