You create a bubble of illusion that causes anyone on the outside of the bubble to be unable to perceive the true events inside the bubble.  For those on the outside an illusion of previous events continue such as random commoners walking in and out, guards on patrol, or simply an empty field with no one in it.  Sounds still pass through but are highly muffled or overwritten by the sounds of the illusion, with a -20 penalty on Listen checks to hear the actual events within.  You set the general events of the illusion on casting and the illusion may be revealed if events change, but the illusion does not.

Those who are acting observant, such as other guards on patrol, are entitled to a [[Will]] save to notice that anything is off.  It does not actually permit vision into the illusion, but reveals the edges of the illusion and that it is in fact a falsehood.  Entering the area at any point allows them to see within it.  ''[[SRD:True Seeing|True seeing]]'' sees through the illusion even at range.

You can have the radius be less than maximum, as small as 10 ft.
