In the early history of the world, a great many old deities, demons, and monsters roamed the world.  These were beings not of this reality, and their presence strained the early laws that made sense of the primal chaos of the world.  So it is said that it was one of these ancient entities that the being Rokuromanes acted as a physical avatar for.  This humanoid creature gave no concept to things like distance, for its reach was everywhere and ever-threatening.  It rebelled against the new world by tearing pieces off and throwing them into the void of creation, but eventually the early creatures of Order discovered its secret location where it hid.  It fought and was defeated, its body pinned to the firmament of space and time where the still young and burning flames of creation scorched it until nothing but ash and a single arm remained.

The graft appears to be a humanoid arm, but scorched black and mottled.  In spite of its apparent damage it remains functional.  It can become oily and rubbery as if lacking bones and stretch out to nigh infinite dimensions, passing through the spaces in reality to reach its goal.  The user gains the ability to threaten out to twice their natural reach, and may attack up to their line of sight as long as they know what square or creature they are attacking.  If they possess means to view even further, such as through scrying, they can theoretically strike even as far out as they view and even across planes.  The arm travels at 1 mile a round, taking multiple rounds to reach its destination if longer than 1 mile away.  It can skip through space, making the duration of any attack on the same plane take no longer than 1d4 minutes, or 1d4 hours if attacking another plane.  The arm itself is impervious to damage from the environment or any planes it crosses, but may be attacked normally using the users flatfooted AC as a creature one size smaller than normal.  Places which bar teleportation do bar the arrival of the arm and its attacks.  The user commits to an attack if they send it on a multiple-round trip, with their arm extending into a thin noodle until vanishing into thin air while it is in transit.

Unarmed attacks with the arm come with the effect of Improved Grab at a -4 penalty, and it can theoretically bring items and creatures back with it when it returns.  Unlike the initial travel, returning always occurs within 1 round pulling any items or creatures through portals as needed.  Unwilling creatures being pulled from farther than 1 mile away may make a second attempt to break the grapple, otherwise they are dragged through.

The arm radiates a palpable unnatural aura which creatures within 30 ft can detect without fail, even if disguised.  Most deities find the arm horrifying and would seek to remove it from its user to seal it away, and the user counts as an eldritch creature for the purpose of interacting with effects that deal with eldritch horrors.  The user also has gains a minimum [[Dark Insight (3.5e Variant Rule)|dark insight]] score of 5, and can ignore up to 5 points of madness before it begins to affect them negatively.

While a means of destruction has not been found, it is commonly contained in hidden non-dimensional spaces and sealed with dimensional barring effects.
