Burrow

Burrow speeds are pretty excessive. --Foxwarrior (talk) 01:05, 8 March 2013 (UTC)

Gotta dig fast! -- Eiji-kun (talk) 01:28, 8 March 2013 (UTC)

Spines

Flavor mentions an ability to damage potential predators (with the spines), yet no mechanical effects are mentioned in the racial traits section. --Franken Kesey (talk) 03:58, 8 March 2013 (UTC)

You don't see Spiky Body and Rollout? It's pretty much their main features. -- Eiji-kun (talk) 04:41, 8 March 2013 (UTC)
(EDIT: Oooooor it could just not being showing up for some reason, dafuq? My edit seemed to have solved it, but how did that even happen?) -- Eiji-kun (talk) 04:44, 8 March 2013 (UTC)
Sorry about that not being visible Eiji, template bug :-(. Your fix just moved the rest of the darkvision clause to the end of the skills ability, so after I fixed the template I went back to using it here so that everything is in the right place and sentences complete nicely and whatnot. - Tarkisflux Talk 06:51, 8 March 2013 (UTC)
Okay, now that you've got it visible, I have to wonder, what are you comparing this against? It's pretty similar to a Deep Halfling, but with 1 point worse saving throws and throwing attacks. Vastly superior mobility and some nice melee combat things look to more than make up for that, at least for the first 5 or 10 levels, though. --Foxwarrior (talk) 06:41, 8 March 2013 (UTC)
Ohhh, so thats what happened Tark.
As for comparisons, there wasn't a direct one, except perhaps halfling. Same stats and size benefits, replacing luck and throwing bonuses with the multiple-hit thing (at risk). Very useful at low levels if one takes the threat of AoEs or has good enough tumble. From there, one can focus on it or simply take advantage of the fighting defensively benefits. I see them having a lot of swashbuckler-type defensive actions, parries, and AoE builds (they miss me, you hit them for damage, your feats are set up to maximize the effect of people provoking... also synergies nicely with reach weapons since your melee is always armed).
But mostly because I could make one a psion now and go "It's no use!" -- Eiji-kun (talk) 07:33, 8 March 2013 (UTC)
