Splinterwound

Placed on projectile weapons or their ammunition, splinterwound shots deal persistent damage over time as shrapnel is left in the wounds. Creatures who take damage from a splinterwound weapon continue to take minimum base weapon damage (including enhancements but not other sources such as Strength or sneak attack) each round for 5 rounds any time they move 5 or more ft, or until the wound is addressed with a DC 10 Heal check (a standard action) or any amount of magical healing. They can avoid taking this damage if they do not move at all. Multiple attacks overlap, they do not stack, but it does reset the duration.

Faint Conjuration; CL 5th; Craft Magic Arms and Armor, caltropsSpC; Price: +1.
