This spell allows you to attach a command word to an existing spell effect which targets a touched object, creature, or area. In order to successfully attach this trigger, you must make a caster level check against the CL of the original spell effect. If the check fails, the spell effect remains in its current state. Otherwise, the attached command word is whispered to the target object or creature, and the spell effect becomes dormant until the command word is spoken. A dormant spell has all of its effects suppressed, and its duration is frozen.
To toggle the spell effect, the command word must be spoken as a standard action within 30 feet of the target. When the command word is spoken, the spell effect is either activated or deactivated, depending on its current state. If the spell effect was active, it becomes dormant. If the spell effect was dormant, it becomes active.
