This is a homebrew remake of the items from Dragon #54.

This token appears to be a brass eyepatch. Fit over the eye and activated, it allows one to see the true nature of things.
Using a feather token (eye) grants the user true seeing for 3 rounds. In addition creatures with less than 8 HD employing the eye may look upon prismatic sphere and similar prismatic effects without being harmed. Symbol spells and explosive runes are visible, and will not be triggered by sight (other triggers can still apply). The user also remains immune to gaze attacks for the duration.
Alternatively, this token can be used to cure blindness in one eye, merely by placing if upon the afflicted area.
Prerequisites: Craft Wondrous Item, true seeing.
