Corpse-Eater Fungus
Verdant Channeler Greater; 5th

The Verdant Channeler is usually weak against undead, however some have found use for an interesting parasitic fungus which devour dead flesh. As a ranged touch attack the Verdant Channeler may cause any corporeal undead creature to be slowly eaten alive by a fungus. This deal 1d6 damage per caster level and cause the corporeal undead to begin burning for as long as the fungus remain. A successful Fortitude save halves the damage and negate the burning.

The fungus will also consume corpses within 10 minute, doubled or halved per size category larger or smaller than medium respectively. It only leave an extremely fertile mud-like substance behind. The same fate await any undead who is slain after contracting the fungus.

The fungus can be purged by receiving negative energy healing, taking at least 10 fire damage, immersion in water or a DC 15 Heal check.
