Upon casting this spell, you move 5' in any direction you would be able to move under normal conditions. This counts as a 5' step when beneficial. This movement does not count as movement for the purposes of a normal 5' step (allowing you to take a 5' step and cast this spell to move in the same round), but still counts as movement for other purposes.
You may cast this spell as a level 3 spell. If you do, the casting time is 1 swift action. You may alternatively cast it as a level 5 spell. If you do, the casting time is 1 immediate action and may cause you to move out of (or into) the range of an attack or effect. If you move adjacent to an ally currently being targeted by an attack or spell as part of this immediate action, you may force the attacking or casting foe to make a Reflex save or target you instead.
There are many variations of this spell, which all have the same effect, but do so in different ways. Upon selecting this spell, you may choose to change its school from Universal to Conjuration (Teleportation), Evocation [Force], Transmutation [Earth], or any other combination of school (and subschool or descriptor as appropriate) approved by the DM.
