This spell causes the ground to erupt in thorns upward before vanishing. All creatures within the spell's area take 1d6 point of magic piercing and slashing damage per caster level (maximum of 15d6) and 1d6 points of bleed. A successful Reflex save halves the damage and negates the bleed damage.
This spell can be cast only on a grounded surface.
