Breath of Long Winter[edit]
The spear hissed and cold steam rushed from its tip, coating it in rime. With another thrust, your target is immobilized in a skin of ice.
A weapon enhanced with this enhancement changes its cold attack depending on if it is active or not. This enhancement can only be added to melee weapons. When deactivated, breath of long winter can be activated as an attack action, or a standard action. It releases a 30 ft line of cold that deals 1d6 cold damage (plus +1d6 cold per +1 enhancement bonus of the weapon, minimum 2d6) with a Reflex save for half, DC 10 + 1/2 HD + your attack ability score modifier. Once this occurs the weapon is wrapped in cold mist and deals +1d6 cold damage per hit as a frost weapon.
While the weapon's extra cold damage is active, it can be deactivated as an attack action or a standard action. Make a normal attack roll. Your attack deals +2d6 cold damage and your target is encased in a shell of ice which immobilizes them, rendering movement speeds to 0 ft for 1d4 rounds. At the start of their turn or as a standard action they can make a Strength check DC 15 to end the immobilization early. It also ends if they take any fire damage.
You can only toggle the weapon on or off once per round, regardless of number of attacks.
