Shining Bolt of Heaven[edit]
The ground exploded in a flash of lightning as your present your blade skyward. With another swing, lightning crashes down on the foe in a blinding flash!
A weapon enhanced with this enhancement changes its electric attack depending on if it is active or not. This enhancement can only be added to melee weapons. When deactivated, shining bolt of heaven can be activated as an attack action, or a standard action. It releases a vertical cylinder anywhere within 60 ft that is 5 ft wide and 60 ft tall that deals 1d6 electric damage (plus +1d6 electric per +1 enhancement bonus of the weapon, minimum 2d6) with a Reflex save for half, DC 10 + 1/2 HD + your attack ability score modifier. A second bolt also occurs directly above you simultaneously, striking your weapon and any creatures in the way. Once this occurs the weapon crackles with lightning and deals +1d6 electric damage per hit as a shock weapon.
While the weapon's extra electric damage is active, it can be deactivated as an attack action or a standard action. Make an attack roll against a creature. On a successful hit your attack deals +2d6 electric damage and they must make a Fortitude save or become blinded and deafened for 1 round. The save DC is the same as above.
You can only toggle the weapon on or off once per round, regardless of number of attacks.
