An idea[edit]

Do you think that ghostflame damage could overcome the cold resistance of undead or do you feel that the half divine part is enough in that regard? --The bluez in the dungeon (talk) 15:13, 19 September 2022 (UTC)

The latter. The original source, Elden Ring's ghostflame, is actually magic damage in spite of it being flamey (functionally typeless or force damage in DnD terms) that deals the frostbite status. When translating it, this speaks to me as "typeless + cold". Then I took the lore of how it is used to burn the dead and gave it the ghost-burning powers of attacking ethereal, and just making undead "flammable" since the running theme here was "a 'fire' that isn't fire damage, but still has the properties of burning, spreading, emitting light, etc". -- Eiji-kun (talk) 15:18, 19 September 2022 (UTC)
