This makes me think it's almost a scaling or tactical feat. Fortunately the bonuses are pretty small. The big potato, of course, is auto-succeeding Concentration checks. Excepting somatic spells does help keep grappling viable against casters in general. With that said, I almost want to see some kind of pre-req, even if just a minor one. Like Fort +2 or something. Eh, not enough to drop to a neutral. You pass.
The only reason it has no pre-req is because the base feat require nothing, since combat casting is often used as a prerequisites and I really didn't wanted to screw with that. --Leziad (talk) 06:39, 15 October 2014 (UTC)

Grappling and pinning are supposed to be the mainstays of neutralizing a caster. I can't agree with those aspects whatsoever. What you should get if you spend a whole feat to be able to cast in melee.
What? Dude the DC is only 20, shit is easy to get. Unless you refer to casting a spell with somatic component while being grappled (which isn't covered by this feat). --Leziad (talk) 06:03, 15 October 2014 (UTC)
