This spell conjures a school of exotic fishes made of water, swimming around the caster and protecting her from harm. Unlike it predecessor it is particularly adept. This spell provides a +4 shield bonus to AC, 25% fortification and a +4 bonus on all saving throws against [fire] spells and spell-like abilities. The caster gains the benefits of Evasion and Mettle against [fire] spells and spell-like abilities. Whenever the caster is struck by a [fire] spells or spell-like ability the duration of the shield shrink by 1 round.
The school of fishes swarming around the caster allow her to automatically succeed on any checks made to cast defensively.
