This spell allows an arcane caster to heal a creature for 1d4 health per caster level, for a price. The creature is aged by one month for each point of health healed by this spell. Excess healing is lost and carries no penalty.
The creature must roll a fortitude save against this spell, even if willing to receive its effects. Should the creature be willing to receive the effects, the spell will function as normal regardless of success or failure of the save roll; however if the save was a critical failure the aging from the spell is increased to one year per point of health regained. Unwilling targets are unaffected if successful on the save, but still suffer the increased effects on a critical failure.
A small hourglass or timepiece valued at 200gp or greater is required for the casting of this spell, it is destroyed as part of the casting.
