Frigid Snap [Combat]
You have the innate ability to supercool the air around your body to channel it into your weapons.
Benefits: This is a combat feat that scales with your Base Attack Bonus.
- +0: All of your attacks deal an additional 1 point of Cold damage. You can suppress and resume the various effects granted by this feat as a free action.
- +1: Your attacks force a target to make a Reflex save, (DC 10 + 1/2 BAB + CHA), or frost and ice begins to form over their body and weapons, causing them to be slowed (as the spell) for 1d4 rounds and take 3 points of Cold damage per round. This only works on the first successful attack in a round against a given creature which is susceptible to this effect.
- +6: Your attacks are Frost as the weapon property except as noted here: Your attacks deal an additional 1d6 Cold damage per 3 BAB. The damage of your slowing ability increases from 3 points of Cold damage per round to 3+(INT mod) points of Cold damage per round.
- +11: Your Frost attacks grow stronger, gaining the Icy Burst property with these changes: On a critical hit this ability deals 1d10 Cold damage per 3 BAB.
- +16: In combat, once every 3 rounds, your attacks and weapons can unleash a blast of freezing cold air dealing 1d6 Cold damage/level. This is a cone of 40ft + 10ft/3 BAB (maximum of 100ft at level 18). This cone has a Reflex save for half (DC 10 + 1/2 BAB + CHA). Enemies who fail the Reflex save must also roll a Fortitude save, (DC 10 + 1/2 BAB + CON), or begin to have their bodies frozen solid as the spell Flesh to Stone with the [Ice] descriptor. Frozen targets count as crystalline, gain Sonic Vulnerability, and become susceptible to Shatter-like effects. Creatures with the Cold Subtype are immune to this ability, as normal.
