A great evil descend upon us....
A terrifying creature, the Maneater Gargoyle look like a bulky horrendously ugly human or orc with facial bat-like features and stony skin. It possess a large set of deadly claws and monstrously powerful jaw capable of crushing rib cages and spines like a overly ripe fruit. The Maneater Gargoyle is a simple minded hunter who prey on humanoid living in settlement within close proximity to it lair, although it can sustain itself on a diet of vermin and fruit if no settlement is present. They will gladly prey on adventurers who come by to loot their lair and usually set up near ancient ruins and the like. Their nest are usually well stocked in treasure and goods... as well the remains of those who used to own them.
Combat[edit]
A Maneater Gargoyle find their prey by tracking by smell and swipe them off the ground using flyby attack and snatch, once they have a prey secure they kill and then fly away to consume the body. In pair one will attack a solitary prey from the front, and while distracted the other will land and attack from behind. If wounded they will usually fight to the death in the lair, or flee back to it if not.
Duskborn: A Maneater Gargoyle's fast healing only function while it not in bright-light illumination. It is At Bay from area with natural sunlight or bright-light.
Gorge (Ex): As a full-round action a Maneater Gargoyle can consume the corpse of a medium or smaller creature, upon doing so it recover 1 hit point for each hit dice it had, if it had class levels it recover 2 additional hit point per class levels. It may consume a corpse as an swift action if it grappled the creature and slay it with bite.
See in Darkness (Su): Maneater Gargoyles see perfectly in darkness of any kind, including magical darkness.
Tear Flesh (Ex): A Maneater Gargoyle's bite is terrifyingly powerful, it add twice it Strength modifier on it bite attack even though it is a secondary natural attack. If it hit a pinned creature with it bite attack it also deal 2d6 points of Constitution Drain.
