Why is it an undead feat?

The first part I get, undead can take cures fine and that's cool. But then there is a whole thing about other energy types which seems barely related. I can see an idea there (though it is very very strong making me wonder why its tacked onto a straightforward "positive energy undead" idea), but the execution needs some work. And personally I think it is too strong/too easy to get.

Probably what I would do is ignore the undead and positive energy thing and turn it into this: Select an energy type. If your energy type doesn't breach immunity/resistance, you recover that as healing. Or 1/2 healing. Can take multiple times one for each energy type. Pre-req: Energy Resistance or Immunity, 12 HD; so not everyone just qualifies at 12 HD. Undeath is only barely related to the concept, and it still encourages the use of resistances and immunities, it's just making it proactively helpful rather than defensive. -- Eiji-kun (talk) 00:02, 24 April 2018 (MDT)

It's actually a quality of a template I made a while back, and I wanted to expand its accessibility. But frankly, your idea is more fun. Please hold. -SecondDeath777 04:04, 24 April 2018
