Dadorabaal the UnmovingEdit

Legends tell of a brave paladin who protected his castle and kingdom from the forces of darkness. This paladin endured a brutal assault for 40 days and 40 nights until at last the tidal wave of evil was routed, but at the loss of the paladin. Yet the legend continues to this day, to the point where the myth of this man has created a shadow of who he once was in the void.

Level: 6th

Binding DC: 25

Special Requirement: No

LegendEdit

The story of the Unmoving has been told in several histories and nations, a story of a knight who bravely sacrificed themselves against a tide of darkness that tried to swallow the world. The details vary from story to story but always depict a stoic and serious man who everyone underestimated, but gained respect amonst his comrades regardless. He became aware of the inevitable rise of evil and managed to convince the king through 12 trials that the evil was real and arriving soon. Thus he was tasked with constructing a great fortress to act as the main defense for the world. When the attack came they laid seige to the world and its fortress for 40 days and 40 nights, slaying many. But the Unmoving remained, and though he lost his life in the final battle he broke the back of the invaders for good.

The story is so old and so widespread, it is uncertain if this paladin was ever a real figure. Even so evidence of a great battle against evil has been seen, leading some to wonder the truth about the being known as Dadorabaal the Unmoving.

ManifestationEdit

The binder seems to be transported before the massive gates of a grand glorious fortress. With a booming ponderous voice a being inside the construction speaks, asking if they will serve justice and protect the people. Agree and the gate shall open, and the contract shall be made.

SignEdit

The binder appears to be glad in massive golden armor regardless of their actual clothing (as if Glamered), and they have a halo of light constantly behind their head regardless of the angle they are viewed at.

InfluenceEdit

The binder never expresses any emotion, speaking in deliberate monotone and taking things very literally. If you have something to protect, you are determined to protect them with your life without a second thought.

Granted AbilitiesEdit

Clarity within PainEdit

The binder finds they are able to not only resist pain, but find divine inspiration in the throes of suffering. They are immune to bleeding and pain effects, and whenever they drop below 50% hp, they gain the effect of divination as a free action. The divination effect can occur 1/encounter.

Grand ArtificeEdit

The Unmoving was known for his grand fortifications. You gain the effect of either stone shape, wall of stone or wall of iron. You can use this once every 5 rounds. Also once per binding you can duplicate the effects of a Lyre of Building using your binder level + your Charisma modifier + 6 as your Perform check.

Holy Knight ProficiencyEdit

The binder is proficient in all martial weapons, light medium and heavy armor, shields, tower shields, and has exotic weapon proficiency in the bastard sword.

Promise of ProtectionEdit

As a standard action you can use mental watchguard as a supernatural ability, augmented up to your binder level. You can only have one instance of mental watchguard up at a time, additional uses dismiss previous attempts.

Unshakable MountainEdit

The binder is immune to both morale bonuses and penalties, immune to charm, compulsion, fear, and gain their binder level as a stability bonus against effects that would move them physically. This stacks with the similar dwarven stability.
