A spell list allowing for different builds without focusing too heavily on spell work as your main or only means of doing stuff. Hair styles which add even more variability to this class and some really fun options. The spirit archtype and type which once again change your hairbinder to focus in on specific play styles while granting you a leg up in such areas. With everything taken into account, no two hairbinders will be quite the same, thus you can play your class however you like.

And let’s not forget the bread and butter with your hair lash. It adds maneuverability at later levels while remaining a strong fighting option with the combination of hair styles and the ability to enchant it.

All in all, a fantastic gish class in my opinion.

There are a LOT of entries still left as the default <-Description of what you're supposed to write here-> - Aeturo (talk) 16:47, 23 February 2017 (MST)

Shhh, Eiji never leaves a class unfinished. <_< Clearly you were seeing things. Amnesia dust! -- Eiji-kun (talk) 03:52, 24 February 2017 (MST)

Blaster and Multiclassing[edit]

So reading through, I'm kinda wondering here, how does the blaster archtype work with multiclassing? I mean it says it works when the hairbinder casts a spell or supernatural ability which deals damage. Is that only hairbinder spells or supernatural abilities or is that with any? Mind you multiclassing this to would take quite a few levels to gain worthwhile buffs on your damaging spells as just one level would only give an extra point of damage, nice at lower levels but not so good on higher levels where a hand full of points are all you get extra. Not saying its bad, just saying you'd have to put in a few levels (In my opinion) in the hairbinder class with a blaster type to get a good bonus should this work on multiclassing with other casters.

On another note, should it work on other spells/abilities from other classes, what about spells that do a single die of damage, such as a single d6 and just a point of damage per caster level extra. Would the 8th and 16th level effects of blaster uncap the spell too, making that single d6 into multiple dice or would said spell remain at it's fixed damage value?

PS: very new to editing here, so if I've gotten something wrong, do inform me, I'd like to correct the issues I make sooner rather than later. Grand Showmanship (talk) 23:43, 18 November 2017 (MST)

Looking at it, the blaster archetype actually works on any and all spells, spell-likes, and supernaturals. That makes it about equal to those feats which offer the same thing, and could be useful for a one-level dip. It should be ok though, since it's self balancing as it is based on the power of the spell you're casting and how many dice it has, and those tend to be level based.
Of course, any upgrades like the +1 DCs and all would require the requisite number of hairbinder levels. Most PrCs only increase spellcasting level and don't improve your effective class level. So while theoretically you could multiclass to apply all these neat blaster perks to, say, your sorcerer casting in practice you won't because every level in hairbinder is a level not in sorcerer. The most you can get from a dip is +1 damage/die.
(Glad to have a new guy here. I haven't seen any errors on your part. If you're wondering the general rule is: if you're making any edits that are fixing typos, fixing formatting, or clarifying what seems to be an obvious error or grammar issue, edit away. If your change alters the meaning of something such as adding or subtracting class features, or buffing/nerfing pre-existing features, you should make an effort to contact the author on the talk pages like the one here and ask.) -- Eiji-kun (talk) 18:32, 19 November 2017 (MST)
Ah, thanks Eiji, that helped clarify it a lot. I was thinking it would work like that, but mostly wanted to check.
As for being new, I'm very new actually, honestly I got an account mostly to post on this class specifically, but with it, I may as well go and ask questions I've got on many other things. Though I'm probably not too good at making a balanced anything myself, great for ideas, bad at making them work. So thanks for the tips on editing, I figured them, but mostly I was trying to figure out how to reply to a post, think I did this correctly though.
Btw, love your work Eiji, your sense of humor with some of them really makes me laugh man. Also, while I've got your attention friend, mind if I ask, any thoughts as to adding epic levels to hairbinder?? I'd honestly love to see maybe 'epic' hair styles if your up to it. Cheers!
